Good choice, but we can still do better. Me on my part would pick out Controlling Transmission or Full-Bore. But above all else ‘The Instinct’ really sets the standard. That slow bild. The rolling sound and then BAM, guitar and drums. Perfect. God I love that track so much.

Wow, this REALLY takes me back. SO far, that I can’t remember if I originally got this CD with the SNES edition or the N64 one. Probably SNES. I remember going to Games For Less when it came out & debating whether to buy it then, or wait another 6 months (or more) for the Ultra 64. Once the store owner pointed out that "six months is a long time to wait", I bought the SNES version (oh, to be young & stupid again, haha.)

Thanks for uploading this (and the companion mixes.) This & Street Fighter Alpha were two albums I listened to constantly & this is one CD that seems to have wandered off somewhere over the years.

Indeed it does. Killer Instinct was THE game to play back when it came out. It was the blow-my-pants-off effect. Much in the same vein that Donkey Kong Country did when it released.
RARE back in those days. Untouchable. The Stamper brothers were the doctors of their time.
