Kenshin’s General tips

(1)As you level up , your current job has an affect on stats, such as,a person who has been a knight as early as possible all the way to lvl. 99 will generally come out with versed with strength and hp, Black Mage would have the highest mgc pwr, ect.

(2)As a job level increases, you get more jp.

(3)Blade grasp is an exact representation of your bravery, but only blocks certain attacks,any weapon attacks, even guns and most monster attacks , including wave around, but not cat kick,magic, or holy sword skills, but it cancels out concentrate, so if you have a normal max brave of 97, then most attacks would have 3% chance of hitting you from all sides!

(4) Abandon, doubles equip evasion, lets say you have a feather mantle, which is 40p 40m, and a crystal sheild 40p 15m…normally, from a side attack, an enemy would have a 24% chance of hitting,but with abandon it wouild be 15%, from the back, it would b 20%,the front would vary based on individual character eva. , however, it does not cancel concentrate.

(5)each enemy will consistently go for one character, and multiple enemies go for the same charactertry to figure them out and use it to your advantage.

(6)The stone gun can’t petrify you if you equip it after battle with equip change, gun attack powers are squared, 16X16=256 and aren’t based on strength.

(7)Shell dosen’t reduce healing magic, so you have nothing to lose!

(8)Calculator is a horrible job, but a good skill.

(9)The highest,safe level of faith is 84.

(10)the Deep dungeon has different layouts per level, the first time you play is the only timeyou can get the special items hidden there,so play a level and search, use a different save and search to see if you get different items and see which ones you like better,since you can only do it once.

Unless you badly want to level up, or just want a good challenge, fight encounter battles without saving, and you’ll end up fighting tougher enemies sometime even ones that outmatch you.

(1)Hamedo only works against Humans, but it’s success rate is based on bravery,-(80 BR=80%).

(2)counter works on any physical attack, as long as the attacker is in your weapon range, this is also true for Hamedo,meaning if you have a gun and Hamedo and another person with a gun attacks you, you’ll attack them and cancel their attack.

(3)Chantage puts you on Regen and Reraise, but unlike the angel ring, who’s reraise only works once, Chantages’ reraise stays on even if you are killed multiple times.

(4)Maintenance also protects your equitment from being stolen, and from being broken, even from Holy Sword skills.

(5)This is kind of obvious, bu to all those who haven’t tried a calculator, they cast spells, take no MP, and are un-reflectable.
