A thousand nightmares
To sleep with eyes wide open
A rage deep within my soul
It gets stronger while we rest
All sweet dreams are now gone
With the wind they have all left
Only a last remain of fall is there
To tell us not forget
Holding on, feeling spring
I know it is just lost for me
Others dwell in spring, not me
Cold and winter is to come
Vastness, white and cruel
Dead to our world I�ll enter
Returning I will not
My reasons left behind
I lost them long ago
In the darkest light of dusk
The light of moonlight�s shadow shone on me
The barren lands are calling
Steady steps will take me there
Dreadless I will walk the way
Not even looking back
You can�t hold me here
All my loved is over there
The emptiness is filled with long forgotten laughter
A crystal lake there is
Of broken faith and fallen hopes
The rain is made of dried and olden tears
Eternal twilight I will see
Face to face with all the sins
I will sleep and have my rest
To come like Phoenix from the ashes
On a summer�s day
The birds have told
Of a cruel, treaty way
And the falling of the bold
Oh beware, beware
For sin lies within
They sung of brother�s love
And of a beloved sacrifice
He has given, he the tough
But after all, it was not wise
Oh farmer beware
Do not fall for the sin
The bittersweet fruits of sin
Now will start to grow
They all lie in us within
And, oh, we can fall so low
You will be cursed
And cast forever out
The shepherd will be dead
And the farmer will go east
Never again he will be glad
Damned to have a bloody feast
The sin it starts to grow
Never give a chance to it
Not alive, but never dying
Feeling pain, knowing the fault
It is more than a nighttime crying
Only because the sin has called
The sin had dragged you down
Into a life of misery
Into a life of darkness
Into a life of fault
Why have you fallen for the sin?

Growing Cold
Growing cold to all their jeers
Weeping always silent tears
The friend you trusted fell so deep
Another reason there to weep
The words of aid ignored
Meeting one convinc�d heart
Placed your trust into the friend
Truth was always there to bend
Now it is a well known lore
No one there to carry anymore
Until you realized it was your trust
Placed into the wrong destroyed it fast
Took a mask, pretended hope
Around your neck you felt the rope
The soul and heart escap�d scarred
Not the body stayed unhurt
Soon the last bearers of your trust
Decided you must change at last
Always crying unseen tears
You ignored now all their fears
Until you fled across the sea
And you thought you were now free
But coming back you knew
It was all sure not true
They broke the valued gift so rare
And turned your hope into a mare
Always telling you to change
You knew it was outside your range
Hopes you had when coming back
Are turned into a worthless wreck
Understanding is not there
You retreat back in your lair
You grew cold to all their jeers
You still hold back your salty tears
But trust you know to keep
Until you do the daring leap
