BTW most of the BGM tracks in the Liger anime were variations on the BGM from Sonic Soldier Borgman. Since the music is basically the same, both shows should really be taken together as one big suite of the same BGM. The vocal songs from the two shows have nothing to do with each other.

As a further element, the live action tokusatsu show Cybercops, produced at the same time and by the same company as Borgman, also has some music tracks that reference back to Borgman. There is no way it is a coincidence. Cybercops has other tracks that deeply emulate the Sunrise anime Brave Express Might Gaine that came later, and Might Gaine itself reused a vocal song from Idol Densetsu Eriko with new lyrics.
