A promotional (�For Your Consideration�) 68-minute album with over 13 minutes of music not included on the original soundtrack of Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been released on Disney�s Awards website (http://www.waltdisneystudiosawards.com/#/star-wars/music).

Physical copies of the FYC Promo CD have been distributed to members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (see photo below).

What is the point of a .cue file? I have never understood why they’re so bloody important (especially to VGM collectors).

DSD was used for mastering. It’s a standard Redbook.

.cue files are good for replicating the CD bit by bit when you’re using lossless files.
