Short version review: If you like Gun-Fu, Knife-Fu, Fight-Fu, Car-Fu, wish The Equalizer had broken out this much artillery-Fu and Lots and Lots of Bullets in the Faces-of-Assholes-Who-Deserve-It-Fu stop reading this and get thyself to the movie theater, forthwith. It’s that good. It will FU you up but in a good way. (Might need a cigarette and a shot (liquor, not lead) afterwards.)
And if you can afford it and have room in your life, rescue an animal from your local shelter. You’ll have a friend forever and make John Wick very happy.

Totally agreed! I just saw the film yesterday and it was great. Really reminded me of all the old 90s action movies… just a good, simple plot with great action, without all the elaborate CGI and over-the-top effects that are so common nowadays. Really fun movie!

Haha funny you mentioned gun-fu OP. Exactly what I thought when i watched it. Though much better then Equillibrium. Seemed more realistic. It was pretty good. The final fight though was pretty cheesy. But the rest was solid
