Not sure if this thread existed, but you could lock it if you want, thanks

Well, anyone ever heard or watched Jigoku Shoujo?
I think it is one of the best anime series…

I also really like Jigoku Shoujo. I think that its main idea is unique, and I can’t wait until the third season comes out

Jigoku Shoujo is unique, I’ll give it that. But it gets tiresome, boring and not to mention, just plain stupid.
The reasons for summoning Ai get unbelievable: "Kill the doctor who killed my dog" and "Go to the Hell Correspondence because my friend said so"…
But I must admit, the first five episode were great…

I see what you’re saying, and I whole-heartedly agree, that not all of the episodes have a good story/plot. Regardless, lets hope that those types of ridiculous episodes won’t appear anytime soon

I actually find it hard to be "one of the best", might be a cool idea, but from my point of view they could make something better out of it. I believe they wanted to do something spoky or horror, but it’s soft (or that is what I think).
The include in almost every eposode new caracters and new ideas, and from there you have nice ones and others that are well said before.
You got Ai always getting into that kind of carriage with a head screaming on fire sticked on it …WTF. yeah yeah, it’s kind of spoky, but in the wrong way. it’s not that i hate it, but they really didn’t make an efford.

What is good and I have to admit it is that the music is awsome.

Would that be "Hell Girl," per chance? I’ve seen the manga around, and it looks interesting. Never seen the anime – didn’t really know there was one. Is it an anime/manga worth looking into?

I’ve never watched it, but did read about it on Wikipedia. Thought it sounded pretty interesting.
