Among the more minimalistic scores (mainly synthesizers and a few exotic instruments) of the 80’s, I think James Horner did not capture the Amazonian forest as well as he did the monastery in medieval time for “The Name of the Rose”. It nonetheless has an endearing quality but it may well be my own nostalgia. Thank you very much, Lord71.
