You guys know that figure of speech "jack of all trades, master of none", right?
Which would you prefer to be? A well-rounded Renaissance Man, or somehow who has a very deep grasp on a narrow range of subjects?

With Google literally almost any information in the world is at our fingertips; we can learn more in an hour than our ancestors could in a day. But at the same time you’re just becoming a trivia buff who doesn’t have a preference of discipline.

You only get one life, and the clock is always ticking – on your deathbed do you want to be able to say that you knew a lot, or that you knew relatively little except for one subject in which you excelled? Which mode of life is on the whole better?

Well my classmates call me a Mary-Sue because I’m good at everything so I guess I’m a jack of all trades, but also specialize in some fields that I’m passionate about like audio engineering and programming with python, so I guess you can say I am both a jack of all trades and a master of one.

Ultimately I would pr fee a jack of all trades because knowledge of all things is something I seek. I will live past the end of time, watching and observing everything around me. Learning all there is to learn.

My dad and my boss are both Jacks of all trades. I prefer to be master on one. Be really good at one particular thing and be very well-known for it.

It’ll be a while, then three will come at once.

Well, I do speak fluent in movie quotes (and song lyrics).

As far as I’m concerned, I’m good or really good at a couple of things, I don’t do relatively well in every field. So, I suppose that I’ll have to choose master of none.

Sometimes I feel like a jack of no trades, master of f**k all. But I’d prefer to know a little about everything, then figure out what I’d like to master. I’d like to try and get my foot in the door with as many things as possible.

A true Renaissance Man of the 21st century.
