Is Tseng an Elf?

Well, I know he doesn’t have the pointy ears and kickass characteristics of elves, but here’s something to ponder. Aeris tells you that she and Tseng were childhood friends. But what about the flashback to when Tseng was at Elmyra’s house, trying to get Aeris to come with him? Notice how he looks like he’s EXACTLY THE SAME AGE AS HE HIS LATER DURING THE GAME!!! Childhood friends? Aeris is a little girl, but Tseng is a grown man, at least in his thirties (judging by his appearance). If anyone actually knows the answer, please tell me. Otherwise, have fun speculating.

Note: My brother said it was really Tseng’s father, Pleng, but I think he was joking.

actually it was a funny story, he was one of aeris’ friends in her childhood, he always loved playing with little kids even though he was much older, then one day it came to light that he molested his male child friends, he went to court for it but got off free because he was a famous turk, everyone knew he did it but he had fans in the jury who wouldnt find him guilty…….wait…….. im thinking of something else…… could be an elf, or just an adult who plays with kids

Right now i can’t remember how that flashback went so i’l just state the obvious.

You’re right about his age maybe square just made mistake or simply Aeris was not telling the truth, but it makes no sense to me why she would. I don’t think that makes Tseng an elf though. Good guess, but no cigar.

well actually, i beleive that tseng was in his late 20s, and now aeris is about 20, so tseng may be like 50 er somthing and still strong, maybe a general/commandor or the Turks, and that tseng got older, but because of the *polygonal graphics* it was just hard to tell the difference.
