Is Mascot worth getting

Mascot takes too much to get

It does not take too much to get and is worth it. Go get yourself hooked up with the guide at GameFAQs called "Mascot Speed Guide" and prepare to be amazed at how little you have to do.

All i hav to do is to get 400 public rating for the companies in the Calm Lands, its hard even with the guide. And it takes along time

I despise Mascot. Not only is it the most ridiculous-looking dress sphere (it’s funny to look at, for only five seconds) but it’s not all that great. There’s a few good skills that they have, but it’s not worth looking like an idiot.

I just beat ffx-2 and i must say that it was not all that great. I was around level 60 somethin and i didnt have mascot but i still kicked the boses’ ass. Simply put you can beat the game without it it not worth it.

Mascot is the dressphere you get for getting Episode Complete in all sections. When wearing it, Yuna looks like a moogle, Rikku like Cait Sith and Paine like a tonberry. Each one lets the characters use the ability sets of two other dresspheres, gives them Ribbon, Auto-Shell and Auto-Protect and access a set of special abilities. It also greatly boosts all stats.

To Ansem – yawn. I don’t think the "final boss" was supposed to be that hard. Go fight Trema.

The fact that you need it or not, you WILL if you want get 100% No ifs, ands, or buts about that I say. :O

so thats like the "ultima weapon" of this game?or is there something better?

Nothing better really, except maybe Lady Luck (matter of opinion) and perhaps the special dresspheres (if you find their abilities more useful.)

Let’s put it this way: you need Episode Complete in every section if you want Mascot. If you want 100% in one game, then you need to get Episode Complete in every section. Therefore, if you get 100% in one game, you get Mascot.
