OK I have installed all the discs for FFXI, Ihave registered and now clicked "play" but I have to download a massive update that says it takes about 6 hrs to download on my 56k dial up connection. Only problem is, my ISP (virgin) cuts out automatically after 2 hrs. I have signed up again for a new account with wanadoo that doesnt cut out but now I cant connect to playonline, but I still can on my Virgin account. The question is how do I change my settings so I can connect using the wanadoo account and then once the update is downloaded change back to virgin?

Is there anothier alternative that enables me to download the big update in 2 hr blocks without having to start over again?

I know its a little off topic but thanks for any help…

if the download ceases after 2 hours it can be resumed from the point you had got to >.<
