David Arnold was not even asked to score this. Kloser is a producer of the film and has been producing, writing and scoring many of Roland Emmerich’s movies since the Emmerich/Devlin/Arnold split. Guess it wasn’t even a consideration to ask Arnold.

At the very least, Kloser did say on Facebook that Arnold’s main theme would be in the film. It’s probably that "ID4 Reprise" track.
