There are a number of bootlegs for this score, but I’m only after the two listed in this spreadsheet (https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AjiRtgP4_o4TdHRueWNUc3JMU0toQ3p2RWNWTEpNR kE&gid=0).

The first is the World Records bootleg which has 34 tracks (22 on the first disc, 12 on the second). In this case, I’m really only after Track 22 of Disc 1, "Nuke Attack / Reunions" (6:02).

The other unnamed and mysterious bootleg has 42 tracks (22 on the first disc, 20 on the second). I don’t know any of the exact track titles for this one, just their positions on the album. They are:

Disc 2, Track 2 (3:10) – Corresponds to the "The President’s Speech" on the La-La Land album and the World Records boot.
Disc 2, Track 5 (4:27) – Corresponds to "Mutha Ship" or "Mothership" on the La-La Land album and the World Records boot respectively.
Disc 2, Track 7 (5:47) – Corresponds to "The Day We Fight Back" or "Rebellion" on the La-La Land album and the World Records boot respectively.
Disc 2, Track 11 (3:35) – Corresponds to "Victory" or "Independence Day" on the La-La Land album and the World Records boot respectively.

Would definitely appreciate any help with this!

If you download my "Definitive Edition" of ID4 here:

Thread 129496

It contains everything the two bootlegs included AND the La-La Land release all in proper chronological order (none of those short tracks combined into suites like the LLL) and the various alternates from the second bootleg are included as well as some film version cues. I re-titled them all, but the music is certainly all there. "Nuke Attack / Reunions" is actually two separate cues, and I titled them (chronologically) "Mission of Mercy" and "Nuclear Offensive". All versions of the latter are in my edition.

Looks fantastic! Can I assume that your edition also contains the correct take of "Mutha Ship" and the unused take of "The Day We Fight Back," since both were apparently exclusive to the second boot?

In the case of the "Mother Ship" cue, I included the LLL version in the main score presentation, while including the film version of that cue in the bonus track presentation.

"The Day We Fight Back" is actually an edit I made, combining both the "World Records" and second bootleg cues into one to fix up the performance issues (missing cymbal crash at 1:44, and flubbed brass notes a few seconds later).

However give me say….an hour? (just moved, slow new internet) and I can dig up the untouched version of that cue no problem.

I didn’t include that 12:33 long "World Records" ‘Lift-Off / Mothership / Rebellion’ since I had used both bootlegs for those stand-alone bonus tracks instead.

Makes sense to me.

I’d appreciate that, thanks! And thanks for all the info! 🙂 As for slow internet, I definitely feel your pain lol.

I checked a bunch of my backup music discs and I can’t find the original WAV, but I do have an mp3 of the track here:
