I’m having trouble

I’m on the second disc, and I’m fighting Fujin and Raijin in Balmb. Whenever I finish "killing" Raijin for the first time, I always have a dead person, and when I fight Fujin as well, I always end up dieing so fast, is there like some sort of "easy way" in killing them?

Need more specifics — what are your characters like, what types of magic do you have? The old standbys always work really well — use magic like Meltdown and Aura if you have it. If your characters get killed, obviously just cast stuff like Life and Curaga and use your most powerful GFs. Fujin has an attack that can take your HP down to 1, so be ready to recover quickly. Of course, you’ll want to Haste all your characters.

Also using Rinoa is very helpful because when she is the only one left standing Raijin says: "I don’t hit girls, ya know?" and doesn’t attack and don’t forget to draw Pandemona from Fujin.

Make sure you Draw GF Pandemona from Fujin before you do anything. And also Mug Raijin for 2 Str Ups each battle.

They’re both weak against poison, so junction one character’s best magic to their Magic stat and have them use Bio, over and over (as well as heal your characters with strong Cura/Curagas). Alternately, if the third character you brought was Irvine, you could use his Dark Ammo instead. Junction Squall’s best magic to his Strength stat and have him go into the battles with moderately low HP; he’ll get frequent Renzokukens this way. Have Zell also use his Limits, just try Punch Rush and Booya over and over. You’ll kill them easily this way.

I agree with Irvine but one more thing:Never junction thunder or aero/tornado to your elemental attack *if u physical attack them, you’ll heal them* and don’t cast reflect

I found that this battle was very very difficult for me (but when I did this battle I wasn’t very good at the game) on thing I have learned now is myabe just go and level your characters some more never hurts to have a higher level character.

P.S pardon if I have made any kind of uncorrect suggestion it has been over 4 years since I did this battle I am going from memory.

This battle is pretty easy as OMEGAWEAPON says if u got a women on ur team he wont hit em so u can focus on protecting the other 2 unless u use 2 females in which case u just gotta protect squall.

Fujin is a lot more deadly with her sai and other attcks one of which leaves u wit one life. But kill rajin first he is more annoying than fujin.

Dont forget pandemonia and also renzokuken always good.

all i did was just attack them with gfs(i was pretty weak at that time…). i keep firing my gfs’ attacks to them until raijin dies, then i draw pandemona out of fujin, and finished her out with a limit break from squall.

What’s with all the ancient threads all of a sudden? Ultima Weapon9999 — please don’t go looking for such old threads to revive. All this advice seems pretty good, but I would hope xdistantxdreamerx would be well past this point in the game by now.

I use sleep on them. So, whenever one is sleeping, I keep attacking the other one. The battle is never really hard that way.
