If you could only watch one director’s films for the rest of your life, what director would that be?

A friend of mine brought this question up the other night. He had a hard time choosing between Scorsese and Tarantino and since I was kind of put on the spot I said John Carpenter but I plan on thinking this over a bit more before I make a final decision. Also the director can be either living or deceased, doesn’t matter.

What is your choice?

Hmm…that’s a tough question! At least for me!

If the question allows for literally any movie the director was associated with in any way, think my answer would have to be Steven Spielberg. As out of all the directors I really like seems to me, with him, the movie list would be the longest in that respect!

John Carpenter or David Lynch. I’d flip a coin and let fate decide.

I’d say John Lasseter.

im gonna have to say michael bay.
since im doomed to see only one director movies, to contrast my boring and uneventful life im gonna need action packed, explosios packed 2 hour films that makes me forget how dull and boring the real world is.

Hitchcock. It’s an easy pick.

I would only watch David Fincher’s future films… He is an absolute genius!

ennnn“`this question, it’s hard to make a right choice. I do not care who the director of a film but it is a really good film.

Definitely Danny Boyle, he tries all the genres and succeeds each time. Besides, composers he works with always make stunning soundtracks 🙂
