I need help with Ispen’s Castle

Have you ever been to that room, its all small and circular. It has three shelves and 2 vase things, and what looks like a sword on the wall. I tried to take the vases out, but it said something like "The vases cannot be rmoved without their source or something" I was wondering if anyone else knew what to do.

You have to pass the vases anti-clockwise or something if I remember correctly. You get an Ancient Aroma, which allows for Odin’s damage attack, again if I remember correctly.
