I Feel Like…

I’m playing Final Fantasy VI. Battling against the Empire, chasing down magicite, with which a government scientist named Cid is heavily involved. Oh — did I mention I’m summoning espers?

Yeeeeep.

It’s like you take VI (all the things you mentioned) and IX (Princess allying with theif/ves to restore her kingdom) and you get XII.

I can post here and read stuff here now.

But yeah, the whole evil empire thing in FFs is used a little much. For some reason with this game it made me feel like I was playing Drakengard.

SUIKODEN!

I felt like I was playing a beautifully rendered, unfinished prequel with a solid soundtrack.

I played Suikoden 4, but never got all the characters.

I liked it.

iv is the worst of the suikodens

I think Square is running out of ideas,but non-the less,the series hasn’t dropped to a point that they have to stop development. I can’t wait till the next series,but know that we have done something like it through the old ones.
Who knows maybe they’ll wow us all with this one.

I absoloutely loved VI haven’t played XII :(…..yet.

I did like though that you get to fight Cid! I was like — no way, I’m gonna get to fight him? Oh, that’s so cool — please let me get to fight him! Oh man, I’m fighting him!

True, but I still like that whole theme – little guy is wronged, rounds up his friends, meets some new ones, and brings an oppressive super power to its’ knees.
