A compilation of music from the Czech/German cult classic Tři oř�šky pro Popelku (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C5%99i_o%C5%99%C3%AD%C5%A1ky_pro_Popelku) (Drei Haseln�sse f�r Aschenbr�del / Three Nuts for Cinderella) (1973), Soľ nad zlato (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Salt_Prince) (Der Salzprinz / The Salt Prince) (1982), as well as Jak se bud� princezny (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076223/) (Wie man Dornr�schen wachk�sst / How to Wake Up Princesses) (1977). Directed by V�clav Vorl�ček (Tři oř�šky pro Popelku / Jak se bud� princezny) and Martin Holl� (Soľ nad zlato).

While the soundtrack for Tři oř�šky pro Popelku was released two years prior in 2003 for the first time ever on CD, this set contains some previously unreleased music of two other Svoboda classics. It features some major motifs, including the songs "Kdepak ty pt�čku hn�zdo m�š" (Where’s Your Nest, Little Bird?), performed by Karel Gott and "Na sedm�m l�nu" (The Seven Fields), performed by Helena Vondr�čkov�. The former is a vocal version of the hunting scene in Tři oř�šky pro Popelku, originally featured in the Czech version of the film. The German version however features the instrumental version, also released on the 2003 soundtrack CD. The latter is a very beautiful song, which plays in Jak se bud� princezny, when all the thorny environment is annihilated, including roses, trees, even animals like hedgehogs or bees are brought to faraway lands, to avoid the princess’ curse.
