I am trying to rip music from some games played on a SNES emulator. The emulator has no option to rip audio to WAV so I have tried using several sound recorder programs to record the music myself, however none of them are much use and don’t give clear quality. Does anyone have any ideas or good programs I could use

I’ve never had much of a problem with quality during my recordings, so I don’t know what to tell you about that.
You could just download the SPC of the game and use Winamp to convert to WAV. The problem I find is if that certain SPC does not have a time length and just repeats forevere, you have to sit and monitor how long you’re extracting … or you can end up with a track that’s at least 5 Gbs big.
Hope this helps.

SPC is the format of music used for SNES. There are websites in which you can get soundtracks in SCP format to play in Winamp … but you’ll also need an SPC plugin for Winamp, which can be found where you find the soundtracks too.
To get you started, just google the name Zophar. That place has lots of SPCs and other formats.
