I need to post about 7mb of pictures in a thread I’m working on, but the attachment limit is just under 4kb. I know that people post album artwork here, which almost always exceeds that size. How do they do it?

By using the image tag.

What do you mean? I just type [img], and then what do I do? I have a total of 46 images that I want to post. I’m fine with adding comments to the thread if there is a limit, but I’m confused. Sorry :/

Attachments don’t work in FFshrine, you got to use an Imagehost like Imgur for Example.

I would advise to resize those images and post thumbnails in the thread (you might link to images in their original quality as you would link an album/music); websites like the aforementioned Imgur may take care of the resizing for you.

Also resize the image, otherwise its gonna too big for the thread. Then you could link a Imgur link (without the img tags) to allow people to download the highest quality available for the cover, and using the one you resized as the one to show on the thread

i don’t know if i’m wrong or not but maybe won’t work, but will

Imgur has a really neat functionality where you can resize an image just by changing the URL.

For example, here’s a raw image URL

But if I change it to this…

I get a smaller image.

Add s to the end of the image ID for small, m for medium, and L for large.

I don’t think that came out the way I wanted it to, lol. Am I supposed to be able to see it, or can only other people see it?
