How many downloads are necessary to make any money with their associate program exactly?

Now back to our regular scheduled program:

I’m listening to this soundtrack now and like many soundtracks I ripped back in the early 2000’s I ripped it @256kbps, this is a great soundtrack I may have to see if I can find a CD copy out there somewhere.

I don’t care if you did I’m sure based on the bit rate it’s the same 128kbps rip however that’s floating around.
