Please excuse my poor English first. I’m a fan of Senju Akira San, I admit he is a very talented composer.
But I noticed his most recent cd titles contain too many repetitive songs, and repetitive melody through all his works.
It defines "Self-plagiarism" and push to limit. @-@

I was going to purchase his latest work: バッテリー ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (https://www.amazon.co.jp/バッテリー-ORIGINAL-SOUNDTRACK-TVサントラ/dp/B01IDSZADM/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1478151211&sr=1-2&keywords=バッテリー)
which released on Sep 28 has 22 songs in total, but by listening previews,
I realized there are only 6 melodies and all others are arrangement which is kinda ridiculous,
even I knew this is his "style" for awhile but this is the worst…

The total 22 songs with only 6 melodies:

1, (track 1,10, 19, 22) = theme melody = similar to one of his earlier work: あの晴れた日へ from album 婚外戀愛.
2, (track 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 20) = melody 2 = clips of theme
3, (track 3, 8, 21) = melody 3
4, (track 5, 15) = melody 4 = his earlier work: プライバシー from album 未成年,and 生きる闘い from album クラッシュ
5, (track 11, 17) = melody 5
6, (track 13,18) = melody 6

Like I said, there are many similar melodies through out all his works,
feels like he’s using a template method or something.
I personally don’t really appreciate this way in music production,
but I really like his solid skills on how organizing those instruments and harmonizing etc…

So I’d like to know how u guys think about him… :kirbywalk:

He did Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which I loved. That’s good enough for me.
