Sorry, unless you are the copyright holder of the music/material shared, you aren’t really in a position to request/demand its removal.

Understandable, however he/she/it is taking full credit for my work.

Is there a way to contact lilu via PM and ask them to take it down, or at least give me credit? This personal reposted *everything* I did, even all of the text of my original post from my blog and is acting as if it’s they’re own post. I searched online and couldn’t find a way to do this without posting a public comment. I’m not looking to start trouble, just looking for credit where it’s due.

The Private Message feature has to be "unlocked" by new users. Post a bunch of messages in threads and wait for the system to insert you in the usergroup with PM privileges; you’ll know you can send and receive private messages when the "Registered User" text under your nickname changes to "Onion Kid".

I’m confused about getting credit for the post that was posted without permission and asked to be taken down. However, if you are the copyright holder of any music/material shared, you probably would rather sell it than have it posted it here. If someone wants credit for something that is not owned then anyone else is also free to take credit for it as well. Owning a box set of a copyrighted work does not make you an owner of it. The work of processing, ripping and creating artwork with your software, camera and equipment does not make you an owner of the resulting product that wasn’t owned by you in the first place. At this point, I would also like some credit for the box set. I would also like joint ownership of the software and equipment that was used to create it.

So you took someone elses work, someone then took your work. And now you are mad? You need to consider what it is you and sites like this are actually supporting. And whether or not you are comfortable with that.

Lilu and Steve resolved this, so why not lock this thread? Further comments are really pointless.
