What the hell?

It’s a 55 MB file called "The Zing Effect". There isn’t even a file extension.

It’s an MP3 file.

How can a complete score be only 55 MB?

Low bit rate??

I think it’s just the fact that it’s an mp3. If you were actually to download it, you would find that it’s almost an hour long.

It’s a mono 128kbps MP3, one hour long.

You just cleared out the center channel without making the front or rear channels stereo and then exported it all, didn’t you?

James (The Disney Guy)

Why is it only 1 track??

Why is it only 1 track??

What I believe llamadude did is:

– Rip the 5.1 track from the DVD
– Import into Audacity
– Remove the center channel
– Export

Nothing more and nothing less.

I will wait for a multiple track version. Or official release. Thanks anyway.

I just wanna say, in my defense, that not only do I know very little about this whole process, but I also cut out all of the sections where there was no score.

It’s all right, it’s just that there are better ways to do it.

One day I will post a big guide to how to edit with 5.1 audio, and you can take a look at that to get a better idea of how to do it to create a better result.

Thank you. Honestly, I didn’t even plan to release this to other people. I planned to just make this just for me, like I did with a few other scores, made exactly the same way this was, but I decided to give this to others, since it was so requested. Sorry I disappointed you.

Dimensioner wrote a comprehensive guide on this whole process years ago. I don’t have the link handy but it’s about as comprehensive as one needs.

His guide is a little outdated and since I haven’t seen Dimensioner in years I doubt he’ll come back to revise it.

DVD Audio Extractor isn’t exactly the best software in the world for an audio-ripping job, especially with Blu-rays being so mainstream nowadays.

I would love if you did. It would help with stuff i plan to rip one day for my personal collection. 😀

I stand corrected then. It would be a really good idea. I encourage you. 🙂

I’ve got a draft all ready, I just need to clarify and simplify things so that it’s not just a wall of text.

I’ll definitely work to get it out before the end of the year.
