The liberalization of pornography laws in Denmark in 1969 made the sale of child pornography legal, although production was still technically illegal under age of consent laws[citation needed]. Color Climax was the first to produce commercial child pornography films.[4] From 1969 to 1979, Color Climax was responsible for the relatively large-scale distribution of child pornography.[6] Between 1971 and 1979 the company produced 36 or more 10-minute films for its Lolita series.[4][7][8] The films featured young girls, mainly with men, but sometimes with women or other children.[4][7][8] The girls were mainly aged 7�11, however some were younger.[4][7][8] Titles included Incest Family, Pre-Teen Sex, Sucking Daddy and Child Love.[7]

10 years… my question is how was it able to go on for so long and for what reasons did mothers and fathers hand over their own daughters willingly?
i’m glad there was no internet or cd/dvds back then so the child porn wasn’t given a chance to spread as widely as the child porn does these days.

Bottom line, every culture has their policies and it varies. The age of consent in England is far younger than here in the States, for example. What is good in one place is illegal in others. And while I think we can all mostly agree that children and porn are a bad mix, we should not judge other cultures for being different than ours….
