Do you prefer a physical onslaught or an imprenetrable defense?

defo strength all the way defence is nothing. if you just keep atacking you are 100% sure to win.:cool:

I generally go for strength, although all my characters have strong attack and defence.

Uhhh, defence. Because, y’know, if you can’t get killed by the enemy’s attack, at least you’re gonna be able to just pound him to submission eventually.

yup, If you are strong enough to kill’em in a hit or two, there’s no need for a god defense

I prefer defensive. I have a lot of it. I need it to be preotected when casting spells.

"A great offense is the best defence," is what some people say, and I say it too. It works as well.

I go for strength first cos you obviously need it to survive.

personally i’d like them both good because what good is being able to kill an enemy in two hits with high strength if your defence is so low they can kill you in one…but i always like my strength to be higher than my defence

Fine, but high defense and low attack aint AS good i suppose..

attacking is gererally better than defending

High Defense and low Attack is better than vice versa, because you’ll be killed before you can really hurt them. 😉

I voted for stregnth, but i usually try to make my characters well rounded with all or most aspects.

normally i wud go for strengh, but i chose defence cus in my opion its beta. cus if ur weak but hav a gd defence i think u got more chance of wining plus the fact that if it wasnt for protect an shel i wudnt of beten ultimecia! so from now on defence all the way! (i only realised this last night!)

I think ya gotta have a little of both defense and offense. But it also depends on the character’s job. If its a mage you need defense, but if its a warrior, attack is generally the way to go, but ya still gotta have defense. Its kinda like choosing between a bow and arrow and a sword, both are awesome but if yer fighting long range a bow works better, if yer fighting close range a sword would be better. unless of course you had a gunblade then you would have a long and close range weapon.

Strength

I voted strength. Though both are necessary to be able to survive in battle.

I say… neither! I like speed best because if you have good speed, then a lot of times you don’t have worry about either strength or defense.
