History of Spira

Hi there, this Solufien, the new guy. I was wondering; does anyone out there have detailed information about the true history of Spira? I am sick and tired of looking on the net and finding nothing. Please help out.

Usually in the game you run into that old guy with the funny pointy
hat called machen or something and he tells tidus about the history of
Spira. But if you choose not to go talk to him you would not know since it’s optional.

Have you tried looking for the script?
that way you don’t have to play to know the history of Spira.

1000 years ago, there were two mighty cities. Zanarkand and Bevelle. Bevelle’s machina was too much for Zanarkand’s summoners. The Lord of Zanarkand, Yu Yevon, summoned Sin. Zanarkand was destroyed and those who feared Yu Yevon’s wrath formed the Yevon religion and spread Yu Yevon’t teachings.

My friend is making a time line of the history of Spira. I’ll edit this post when he has finished.

that really is true. the only time i found anything he said interesting was when i went back to mt. gagazet after i completed the zanarkand ruins. you find out some really interesting things about yunalesca.

No not really…nothing really happening right since half the people are taking mid-terms at college

The history of Spira is one of the best stories i’ve ever read about.still,there are things not answered.
