Oooooooooh Dear… Where do I begin… First of all if its not one from computer than your wasting your time… Second… You should be on RPG Maker 2000 or 2003. And just kinda play around with it, I don’t wanna go on for hours and hours (which I very well could) i suggest making a short RPG first just to get the hang of it then make some more… I have a whole bunch of RPGs I’ve made with RPG Maker that I coudl send you… If you want any of them send me a PM n I’ll give you one to show you what all you can do with RPG maker… So yeah… just PM, or post again in this thread if you have any questions…

Has anyone here played Final Fantasy Time and again?
It’s the game made by RPGmaker and you can download it on the internet, I’m not sure whether I should post the address here though.
It is based on Final Fantasy 4 and has got a lot of characters from it, I have played the demo and it was fantastic, forgot it was made by RPGmaker during playing it.

Don’t use RM2k3, it’s for weaklings.

No, RM2k3 owns Rpg Maker 2000 🙂

Sure, if you’re a weakling.

Personally, RM2k3 only biggest feature was an already made Side Battle… which was absolute crap. RM2k is good enough on it’s own and RM2k3 is also good enough without the side battle stuff. If you want real side battles, code one yourself rather than using what was given to you.

Indeed. Custom battle systems are the way to go in RM2K if you really hate the default one, but honestly you can do nifty stuff with the default anyway.

If I ever get around to finishing it, my game will be awesome, but I’m just using the default. I already coded a nifty gun & ammo system for it that to the best of my knowledge has never been used before.
