They both come out today, but I’m a little strapped for cash. Which do you think would be a better purchase? As much as I love Square, I’m leaning a little towards Luminous Arc.

I’m looking forward to Heroes of Mana, since I’ve always been a fan of the series. The art looks pleasing and from what I’ve seen, the battle system looks fun.

I have lost faith in the Mana series and would definitely go with Luminous Arc. It has anime cutscenes with bouncing breasts, battle voices, and music done by Yasunori Mitsuda. I’d say these 3 factors make for a great game.

I would get Luminous Arc, most of the stuff in it and the images that I have seen seem to indicate that it will be quite hilarious and fun.

Oh noes! I forgot Wal-Mart takes a while to bust out new releases and I’m going to have to wait until I return home to go to Gamestop.

*Bump*

Another RTS-style game with more baby-sitting of your units, even worse than Red Alert.

I’m having fun anyway though. XD

I haven’t played a Mana game since the original SNES game. (3 in japan). Luminous doesn’t appeal to me. I think I would choose Mana anyway if I had to choose just one.

Secret of Mana (what you call the SNES original) is Seiken Densetsu 2 in Japan.

But the third one (also released on the SNES) was a wonderful game that never got officially released in America.
