Hi dear friends.
As end of this year i share with you a magnificent cd which includes two old cds conducted by maestro Henry Mancini.
One is Big Screen Little Screen, originally recorded in USA in 1972 which includes some movie and tv themes. Not so bad, but not so wonderful too.
And the other, is the real gem of this CD. A Concert of Film Music, originally recorded in the famous Studio N.1 in Abbey Road in London, England with the maestro conducting the great London Symphony Orchestra.
Although the arrangments can be a little weirds comparing with the modern standards, is absolutely impressive to listen one of the greatest orchestras in the world playing music of Nino Rota and John Williams, for example.
The remastering is really good.
