Does anyone know how I can get a US copy of Dragon Ball GT final bout without spending so much $$$?

….. your joking right?

DB GT: Final Bout was out of print since 1997, to find a copy of it a price under 80 bucks is VERY VERY RARE.

Heck, I found one but they are expecting at least 120 bucks for it. The game is VERY VERY RARE.

However, the game itself sucks, there is no real game value for it, just collection. If you want to buy it because of gameplay, I suggest that you don’t as 120 bucks is not worth it.

Course the other alternative is to locate a Japanese import copy of it, which isn’t so rare compared to the US.

Check ebay. It’ll probably be expensive as hell though, like Dj Mogk’ said.

Thank you for your suggestions. I now the game is really really rare I guess there is no place to buy the game for a regular price:Sad:

Just get the import man, it’s not like English matters in a fighting game.

Well thats the thing I sold my playstation. I don’t think you can install a psx modchip in a PS2 system.

Well, there are other ways, like a gameshark for example. I’m not sure if a PS2 gameshark would be able to let you play PlayStation imports, but you could look into it.

And here comes Dj MogK’, showing what he knows about modchips…

Quick Answer: You cannot play imported games on a US PS2, even with the best modchips, it’s impossible.

Sorta Long Answer: It’s impossible for the PS2 to play imported games because of the country code. The Modchip has NO control over this at all, there is no way to do this.

The DVD regions can be overridden but the PS2/one games cannot be changed.

Besides…. I have the US version of Dragon Ball GT… heck, I have both US and Japanese… I guess it’s the voices that I like ^_^

Here’s a link to a copy of the Japanese version. You can buy it now for $37, if you can get ahold of a PSX with some way to play imported games.

I’m not sure where you’re from so I’m not sure if this’ll help but I found one in Uptown Manhattan. I think it was 179th. Anyway, I remeber it being expensive but under 80. Also, the guy at the counter told me not to get it cause it was garbage. If you don’t live in NY maybe you can find it on the net
