help with submarine base

hey. i am now in the the naval base, trying to get a submarine. problem is i forgotten if i have tried playing the submarine mini game or not. and now i can’t enter the underwater submarine complex, when i get to the end of the transparent underwater tunnel, the door is locked. and the dog is blocking the way in the corridor at the base, so i can’t get in there either. anyone can offer advice?

There are only 2 submarine docks in the entire game: the one next to Junon and the one on the field near the desert surrounding Gold Saucer. Take the airship and check both of these docks, and if the submarine isn’t there, you just must not have gotten to that part of the plot. If you don’t have the airship, you DEFINITELY haven’t gotten to that part of the plot.

It probably isn’t at Lucrecia’s cave because in order to leave it there you’d have to take two mountain-crossing chocobos up a mountain at the same time, take one of them back over and get the submarine, and then take the submarine to Lucrecia’s cave and take the remaining chocobo out of the area. Yeah, that’s kind of impossible.

Why the hell would he need to start a new game? That is such a ridiculously stupid idea. It’s very easy to find his submarine given the limited number of places it can be, and by this time, he’s probably already found it because this thread is rather old and clearly did not need your post.

if he cant remember where he remember where he parked his vehicular transport, thanit would be better to start a new game.. or find the hulk-of-metal and put a tracking device in it so it doesnt get misplaced again
