help on the cards

hey can some1 help me can u ever get ur gf or charactor cards if u loose them in a battle?? cuz i lost my diablos and minataur card to this fuckhead heehee srry well anyway is there anyway i can get tehm backk???

I think those ones are a 1 time offer only. I’m not 100% sure, but if you lost them, I think there gone. When ever I lose them in a match I restart the game.

in the game theres only one of each card…… unless you can win it back from who u lost it too….. but i dunno if that works. if anyone wants to know where to get cards though i know how to get all of them……….

depends what person it is. i lost Ifrit card to the boy who runs laps in Balamb Garden (weirdo) and i won it bak off of him.

Just like the others said,once you lose a special card(Guardian Forces cards,Puu Puu card,Fat Chocobo card,Mini Mog card etc…)
you can only win it back by beating the person you lost it to.
If I lose any special cards,I restart the game.Thats why you should save before you play.On another note,to me the only cards I’ll ever sacrifise for items are the ones that will give you admantine( the brothers card does this)I use admantine for the final weapons.

I’m not sure if it is true but i heared that you could win back lost card by beating the queen of cards but she would have to use that card. She is usually outside balamb station

No, Ketal is right. If you lose a level 8 or 9 GF card or a character card to someone, you can always win it back from them, with very rare exceptions. (Such as when you lose Ifrit’s card to General Caraway in order to get Rinoa’s card, you then have to play Headmaster Martine to get the Ifrit card back.) You may have to play them many times though before they play the card you lost in their hand.

Hmmmm, no-one’s said it yet. You CAN win back your cards IF you verse the card club on the Ragnorok on 4th disk. It takes a while but you can win them back there. (since all the cities are blocked by that force, you can’t verse the guys you lost em to.)

That’s true, for the most part. However, the Card Queen is also still around and you have to play her for any cards exclusive to the Card Queen quest. From the walkthrough at http://gdogonline.freeservers.com/walkthrough/ff8walk.txt:

"She’s located at one of the southern tips of the Esthar continent, in the Abadan Plains. You can’t see her on the Overworld directly; you’ll need to actually run into the specific area to enter a field screen. Btw, this is the same field screen where you re-discovered Piet and the crashed escape pod in Disc Three. She holds the 5 cards exclusive to the Card Queen Quest."

i found full card in FF8 1

if your not on disc 4 just go to card on the menu list highlight the missing card and it will tell you who has it at that moment in time if you have forgotten who took it of you

then just battle till you get it back

i try not to use my character card if i can help it i just use gf’s
