How do you level up your magic level? (quite redundant, I know) It says my magic level is at 4 but I need it to be level 5 so I buy a spell. I tried just using magic in all the battles I’ve fought but noticed no difference. Is there any trick I should be aware of?

You raise your magic level by raising your experience level. A white or black mage’s magic level grows faster than that of a red mage. Knights and ninja get all of their spell levels at a certain level (which you’re almost certain to have passed before you undergo the class change).

So, basically, just level up a few times until the desired spell level is unlocked.

Thanks, I would have lived in ignorance without that info.
