Help me!

I’m at the end of disk 4, in Memoria. I can’t get through the Tiamat battle because he uses Jet Fire and keeps killing everybody. What am I supposed to do?

Just do a lot of levelling up before taking on the bosses and you’ll be fine. Most of the monsters in memoria give enough exp to get to a good level fast enough.

When I first faced Tiamat, I had
Zidane, Garnet, Freya, and Steiner. he used his wind breath and blew Zidane and Steiner out of the battle, so I could only use Garnet and Freya. I had Garnet cure and summon (Bahamut) and Freya use Dragon’s Crest over and over.

oh- thanks. 🙂 Zidane is about level 40 now…but your right, it’s so easy to gain levels over there. i’ll give it a try. the Jet Fire that the Tiamat uses will automatically kill me though, right?

eikofan69, I’m using Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Eiko. I have Garnet and Eiko using Cura while Zidane attacks. Has the Tiamat ever used the Jet Fire on you???

I had Zidane at lvl 67 when i finished IX.

The party was Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Steiner

In my opinion, Steiner is essential becuase he can do Shock, which is an excellent attack.

lol- i never wanted to use him and i don’t know why. I always like using Eiko for her white magic and summoning, especially the one she gets when her moogle dies.

Jet Fire…. I don’t know… He might’ve. Garnet died a couple times, but Freya had about… 3500 HP, so she stayed alive and I revived Garnet.
Hmm… Vivi… I dunno, I’m not a master strategist (is that a word?). But, it sounds like you’ve got it all planned out for your party. Just have Vivi cast all his spells and see which is most effective.

I had no troubles defeating that boss. stiener is really good if you like physical attacking. anyway when I was a mormoria I was at level 73
