Help mastering materia

Hey im kinda getting really bored of just running around in circles at mideel just to get 200 ap and i just want to know if there is any place to go where i can get more ap so i can master my summons

Yeah! If you’re at the end of the game ( which i believe ) you can in fact get 32,000 exp per battle and 6,000 AP per battle!

go to gold saucer and get 2000 gp ( this is very easy if you have an S class chocobo ) and go to the wonder square. Buy an exp plus materia ( the very last ???? one…its 2000 GP )

Then go to the ancient forest. It’s near cosmo canyon. Either raise a green black or gold chocobo to do it, or kill ultimate weapon!

get the apocalypse from there, and also get cid’s triple ap growth materia. I forgot the name right now.. It’s either Spirit Lance, Partisan or Dragoon lance. You’ll know anyway.

go to northern crater with at least cid and cloud in your party. Go through the northern crater UNTIL you get to a fork in the road. Send your personal party ( with cid and cloud ) left and everyone else to the right!

Then when you go to the left, choose to take the upper path ( yuo’ll meet yet another fork! )

you’ll come to an area with the underwater music. I hope you have the w-item materia.

if you do, then duplicate your elixers. fight an enemy called ‘pots’ here. one alone will give you 1000 Ap and 8000 exp. Most of the time i see them come in pairs.

So if you fight two thats 2000 Ap and 16000 exp. With mastered exp plus it doubles to 32000 exp ( its eitehr doubles or, does more. If it does more then its 40,000. I can’t rmr..sorry! ). Since you have triple growth weapons your ap becomes 6000

Very rarely you’ll fight an enemy called ‘movers’. They are three jumping orange balls that do almost 1000 dmg per attack. But they are VERY easy to kill. They give 0 exp ( 🙁 ) but they give 2400 AP! Thats 7200 AP with triple growth weapons! Yeah!

I mastered all my materia. Within 8 slots i had most magic. I had a ziedrich on all of them so it’s the best armor but with no materia slots. The materia i had on each person were the same:
Master summon, W – Summon, W-item, Master command, Master Magic = All, Final attack = phoenix.

When i go into the crater can i get back out with myentire party so ican beat emerald and ruby weapon?

In the the North Crater, get in fights with the magical pots that ask for elixers, (W-item=AWESOME) and also the submarine is okay, you know, the crashed gelinka. OH and put on weapons and armour that have double or even triple materia growth!

Where can i get elixers and i forgot to get the w-itme materia is there anywhere else i can get it?

The W-item materia lets you get infinite elixers. This is because of a glitch. THe glitch is that if you select one elixer you get to select one more because that’s what a w-item does. But then if yuo cancel and then press okay and cancel…it stocks up fast!

If you missed it in midgar the last time you go there ( poor you… lol ) then good luck because the only other way to get it is to start digging in bone village.

you know that X in front of the ladder? Dig on that X a lot. First you’ll get cid’s mop. Then you shoul dget something else and then the w-item. It works. But it takes time…

i donno what treasure to look for.

Actually you need to get out of there again, because if not, you can never get a mastered magic materia from the Cosmo Canyon. You get the shield materia at the northern crater, and to get a matered magic materia, this one must be mastered, too. 😉

And you can go in an out of there as often as you want. 🙂
