There are lots of other genres in metal with "good" bands, I’m not sure why you’re only limiting it to power metal and numetal. Also, why only limit it to the last two years?

For power metal: Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Akercocke. And for nu-metal: Disturbed and Korn. I can only think of two good bands in nu-metal. By the look of what you asked for, I can say with confidence that you would like melodic death metal and progressive death metal too.
