I’ve always been good to notice music, and there are a few music samples I’ve heard in a countless amount of videogames, movies, trailers and even tv shows.

Here are several videos which each contain these similiar pieces of music.

Spyro 2 (PS1 game)

YouTube – Spyro 2 – Gulp's Overlook (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGYG_bV5q1Y)

Spiderman 2: Enter Electro (listen to 0:26)

YouTube – (PS1) Spiderman 2 Enter Electro Game Cutscene 22 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtFfGnFC3LA)

Spider-Man the Movie (PS2 Game)

YouTube – Spider-Man (Movie Game): Scorpion's Sting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXIFpib8N-8)

Jurassic Park: Trespasser (PC Game)

YouTube – Jurassic Park: Trespasser OST – Race To The Summit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX_Thlc39YQ)

A few other places I’ve heard this music include:

South Park (tv series)
Jackie Chan’s First Strike (1996 film)
Jak II Trailer (Game)
Fear Factor (tv series)
Army Men videogames for PS1 and PS2

Does anyone know where this originally came from, who made it, and why it’s everywhere? Any help identifying this famous music sample would be appreciated.

Thanks
