what you do is WAIT til disc 4. Then buy all the rare items in the Auction House, and sell them to the people in Treno that want them (usually the 2nd offer is right). Then, go back to the Auction house after you sold everything, and get the Magical Fingertip. Sell it to the old man in Daguerreo, up on the second floor, near the library. I believe he’s the guy that asks for the book, "The Eidolon and I." He’ll give you Steiner’s sword, "Excalibur." To get "Excalibur II," you have to get to Memoria within 12 hours, and find it on a balcony in a chest.
