It sounds a lot like Clint Mansell’s work in Requiem for a Dream, but it’s not. It’s Mars, by Nick Ingman & Terry Devine-King. Been looking for an MP3 of it, but it appears to be a composition written specifically for trailers, so I guess we won’t be able to find/share it here.

Oddly enough, this is one of the few times I’ve come across trailer music that the general public can purchase. You can buy it off Audio Network at the low price of 0.79 for personal use.

Audio Network – Mars (http://www.audionetworkplc.com/production-music/mars_23078.aspx)

Will be getting it myself ASAP. And may I just say how nice it is to see a production music company that’s finally allowing people to purchase their trailer music for personal use (and in lossless WAV format at that). I wish more would do that.
