HEARTBREAKERS (score by Elfman & Debney) (Lossless/FLAC)

Heartbreakers was a black comedy from 2001 about an older woman seducing wealthy men into marriage and her daughter coercing them into having an affair so mom could collect big bucks at divorce court. The title is also spelled "heartBREAKeRS", although I don’t get it.

RCA released an OST with 10 pop vocals from the film, and just 2 score tracks. This disc has 63 (some short!) for a total of about 30 minutes. Danny Elfman wrote the jaunty title tune while John Debney composed the rest in an uncharacteristic manner (similar to Thomas Newman). Because Debney incorporated Elfman’s tune throughout his score, the result is more of a combo effort. For me, the most appealing parts of the score use the Elfman tune, so I give him more credit than Debney for the nice listening experience.

Great stereo sound. No vocals, dialog or sfx.
Tau and EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
