I am fully aware of the fact that some people will not like this thread, because it is a long shot (or not, if people will show some goodwill) and because it will sound rather ‘elitist’. However, please accept my request for what it is and kindly do not start an argument. I want to keep this a civilised and clean request and am merely doing this because it seems to be the only way left and so that people might stumble upon my thread.

I am currently looking for Nicholas Hooper’s Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince recording sessions. If you have these, please, PLEASE get in touch via PM. Do not write to me if you are merely interested in finding out what I have if you do not have Harry Potter.

I have great respect for the rules of the game and can assure everybody that – as much as some people will hate me for saying this – the music will be used for private listening enjoyment ONLY, nothing more. I have no intension of causing unnecessary harm to anyone.

In return, I can offer:

1. an immense collection of classical music
2. an extensive collection of Anglican music
3. recording sessions of equal value by the following composers:

– John Williams
– Danny Elfman
– Hans Zimmer
– Harry Greggson-Williams
– James Newton Howard
– Brian Tyler
– Trevor Rabin
– Alexandre Desplat
– John Debney
– Elliot Goldenthal
– John Powell
– Jerry Goldsmith
– James Horner
– Marco Beltrami
– Michael Giacchino
– Marc Streitenfeld
– Alan Silvestri
– Patrick Doyle
– Edward Shearmur
– Geoff Zanelli
– Klaus Badelt
– Henry Jackman
– Trevor Morris
– Randy Newman
– Lucas Vidal
– Mark Isham
– Michael Kamen
– Rob Simons
– Mervy Warren
– Brian Reitzell
– Paul Haslinger
– Cristophe Beck
– Theodore Shapiro
– Christopher Young
– Randy Elfman
– John Frizzell
– Chris Bacon
– David Newman
– John Murhy
– Thomas Newman
– Bennett Salvay
– Marc Mancini
– Andrew Gross
– Ilan Eshkeri
– Graeme Revell
– Atli rvarsson
– John Ottman
– Larry Group
– David Julyan

Like the thread or not, asking for private trades on the open forum has been declared against forum rules.

Besides, haven’t you been looking for these for years? If you haven’t gotten any leads thus far through your super secret inner circle, you’re probably not going to have better luck posting your request openly.

If anything people are just going to beg you for some recording sessions by the composers you mentioned.

Jessie has shut several trade threads in the past, citing that this is a free sharing forum, not a trading site. I know you are aware of that too. But if it means no more threads from you, then I guess we all are winners.

Not to be a nuisance or anything, but could I just ‘bump’ this thread seeing as this place has been on fire lately lol?

It’s not like a request thread will change anything.

bollemanneke

It has, in the past at least, and in very unexpected ways indeed.

Well, I’m sure for other scores a request thread can have an impact, but this is Harry Potter we’re talking about. From my understanding those are held far more tightly than many other scores.

It doesn’t hurt to ask, I suppose.

if i undertsand right, they are secret forums where people have all kind of soundtracks that you cant find anywhere, it really sucks that some people have stuff that is really difficult to find and imposible to buy and wouldnt share it without something in exchange, a real fan of anything would never do that

Yes well, sharing isn’t always possible in public, sad but true.

It’s absolutely possible, it’s just occasionally dangerous to some peoples’ careers and very often dangerous to their sense of entitlement.
