You very well know you don’t need to say anything about upload or premium links or referrals.
There hasn’t been any rules made to outlaw them here.
And everyone know’s what everyone’s opinions are on the matter.
The only reason to say anything more is get likes and reputation over squabble.

If the previous thread is a different format, a new thread is allowed.
If the previous thread is abandoned by OP (which can happen a lot), then a new thread is allowed and I should close the old thread.
If the previous thread is abandoned by OP *and* there are re-ups in there, I could easily move those to a new (active) thread (now here) and close the old thread.

Just because I’m a moderator doesn’t mean I know every thread.
Does anyone have anything to say about the old thread that I should know about?

Those would be more pertinent details to actually post.
