With my first day on the forum, I thought I’d do something useful. I didn’t see any complete soundtracks for Gundam: The Battle Master 2 (Gundam Battle Assault in the US). I mean, I’ve seen rips from the CD, but never any of the other tracks. So, since I’ve been having this collection for who knows how long, I thought I may as well contribute.

Some notes about this rip:
-This contains the songs from the CD, and the songs in between the battles made by the internal synth on the PSX. Most game rippers tend to leave out those tracks.
-Tracks 1, 10, 19, 32, 37, 44, and 46 are only played in Battle Master 2. They are nowhere to be seen in Battle Assault. However, tracks 1 and 44 did remain on the CD, so most rippers still have those songs, but cannot identify them.
-Each track is named. The names of tracks 1, 4, 13, 15, 17, 20, 33, 38, 40, and 44 had a name on the CD, the rest of the names I made up myself.
-Tracks 3, 10, and 37 had to be irregularly ripped, since I am no professional and only have basic audio-ripping technology available to me. 3 and 10 had sound effects when they first appeared, and 37 simply cut in, therefore each of those tracks starts up a little early.
-Extended versions of tracks 22, 33, 35, and 38 appeared in Gundam Battle Assault 2. However, my audio-ripping technology doesn’t seem to feel like running at 100% for that game, so those rips are not included.
-Don’t ask me for rips of the first Battle Master game. There is no concise place for me to engage in my audio-ripping like there was with this game. Besides, tracks 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 35 are from the first Battle Master game.

thanks for the effort, though the AVS demo constant inturruption ruins the otherwise great music. A shame cause it totaly ruins the Devil Gundams awesome battle theme.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I have some .wma versions of the files, but otherwise, I have no idea on how to deal with that AVS demo. Maybe another .wma to .mp3 converter?

EDIT: Well I tried another converter. The other garbage file should pretty much fade into nonexistance. Still, let me know if something goes wrong. I don’t trust MediaFire.

By the way, do the "unreleased" tracks work just fine?

They were doing alright, but all had the same demo thing. The forums here have a list of good audio programs and trouble shooting threads. I personaly used a bunch of good programs, but since my PC was stolen I no longer remember most of them aside from "Audacity" which is a decent program to start off with until you find something better.

Well good luck on your end, I’ll check out the updated version later. and give you my opinion. But first, must sleep….

Well, this version is much better, however, there are some duplicate files in the download. Seems you left two duplicates, and both of them are of a lower quality then the other. Other then that it’s a fantastic job. So thanks for the upload.

Blast it. I knew something went wrong here. Well, I’m not quite sure how to update the file off of MediaFire, so I guess the only solution is to delete those two. Thanks for the help and hope everything else is just fine.

EDIT: How about this? I added a MegaUpload link to the list. Does that help any bit?
