What’s the difference? other than you can get drums and shit with RB. I heard you can get way more songs with it. and do you usa the lower set of fret buttons? or is that just for midgets?

The difference is Rock Band copied Guitar Hero’s guitar game, but Guitar Hero copied Rock Band’s drum game.

For the most part, I prefer GH’s songs. But i dont really play either that much

Differences:

Rock Band has:
-More accurate charts
-More songs and DLC
-Cheaper DLC

Guitar Hero has:
-More difficult songs (because shittily charted)
-Better peripherals

And to address MarvinStraight’s post: Rock Band did not copy Guitar Hero’s guitar game, Harmonix was the one behind the musical aspect the entire time. Activision just bought the concept.

That’s true. I’m not sure why Harmonix left Activision though. I guess EA presented a better deal…

Harmonix wanted to expand on the genre.

I’ve never played Rock Band, but from what I’ve heard I wouldn’t say it has more accurate charts, especially for the drums.
