For those who aren’t fully aware of the series, Gradius is like R-Type, but I’d prefer these to R-Type, in my opinion. It has eight stages, a high range of difficulty levels, weapon combinations.
I use direction, laser, back and forward double, double rear missiles, force field as my prefered combination.
Is anyone into Gradius V?

I, too, am more into R-Type than the Gradius series. Although, Gradius V is one of the most impressive shmups I’ve seen, in terms of visuals. It’s on par with Ikaruga. And that’s mostly thanks to Treasure for working on it. I’ve owned the game since it’s release date, but I havne’t played it too much. I can get as far as the 4th stage boss. I might give it another go within the next few days.
Option Laser rotation all day!
