Nope, you can trade GP for Battle Points, not the other way round.

You cant trade, but sometimes near the entrance to G.S there is a guy standing around who will sell you 1 GP for 100 Gil ( or some rate can’t really remember)

actually it’s a darn easy way of getting GP, Master an All materia which sells for a huge sum of money, then find the guy and do the exchange 😀

No, that’s crap. I wouldn’t master an All materia only for having enough money. The other thing is, the guy at the Gold Saucer is not always there, and you can’t trade that many GP at once. 🙁

You better go to the Chocobo racing. Breed your own Chocobos and go there. After you won a round, you’ll have the choice for getting GP or an item. Choose GP. Keep doing that, and soon enough you’ll have a whole bunch of GP. The higher your Chocobo rank gets, the better the prices will be, and of course the more GP you can get. 🙂

You can also do the moogle game for getting the first GPs, but you can only do that once. 😉

For the battle points you can get good prices though. Why would you want GP for it?

Actually I mastered my all materia so I could sell it ( I have like 7 extra mastered ones now 🙂 ) and it sold for like 2 million. I don’t know I guess I had time to play with the pots in the North Crater. Mad AP.

North crater was a nice spot; but i still prefer the crashed Gilenka for some reason. mostly cuz i can go there and have a chance to play with E.W on my way there or back.. I just love playing with that big baby

as for gil, why don’t you just Morph a bunch of good critters and sell that to a shop?
when you get bored you can go play the races, and go back when you tire of that. nice way to overclock your gil into those delectible symbols.

The reason i asked about this is because i want the ( EXP.Plus materia)…but that requires 2000 gp at the gold saucer….i have also never seen that guy who can sell u gp before? where is he?

The guy is close to the save point at the Gold Saucer. If he’s there, you’ll see him standing in the background. But like I said, I wouldn’t wait for him, because he’s not there very often. Go to the Chocobo racing and you’ll get a lot GP. 😉

no his apperance is random, so the chocobo racing is a safer bet but if I remember right you’ll have to win a lot of races to get that much, even at s class.

Up to you how you do it though, both ways work but take time 😉

It’ll take a bit to get GP from the Chocobo racing, but it is still quicker than waiting for the guy outside.

And if you are on the s-class the prices get a lot better. This means, if you choose GP instead of an item you can get 200 or more for just one round. I think the highest GP you can get (instead of taking the item) is 500 GP!

The only thing about the races is the fact that you have to spend alot of money training a chocobo ( giving it food ) and also you have to find a good chocobo ( preferably a wonderfull chocobo, from the Icicle Inn area)
