Hello,
can anyone recommend a good flac->mp3/other audio format converter? Xilisoft Audio Converter does a nice job generally, but doesn’t convert tags in the flac files, so that I have so re-tag all converted songs manually, which is bothersome. Does anyone have a good, ideally free alternative?

Foobar 2000 can do that for oyu.
It’s free and can set proper tags for the mp3 as well.

Don’t forget to grab the latest MP3 bundle.
Extract them to any folder where you want to keep it and when you convert to mp3, Foobar will ask you to point to the mp3 encoder.
This process is only done once.
After that, it will convert directly.
