Kitajima Maya is a young girl who dream to be an actress but lack of lots of things. While her own mother give up on her, the legendary actress, Tsukikage Chigusa sees her hidden potential. In order to find a potential successor role for ‘The Crimson Goddess’, she offer Maya her guidance.
Maya’s hearts burning like flames for acting make her choose to runaway from home and live under Chigusa guidance. Along the journey, she finds friends and even a rival, Himekawa Ayumi. Even from a perfect background, Ayumi still feel the disturbance due to Maya existing on stage.
Hayami Masumi a very successful businessman has captivate by Maya’s act. He start sending her a purple rose and giving help and support in dark, while being rude in reality. With the identity as ‘The Purple Rose’, a nickname given by Maya, he is praised by her. With the identity Hayami Masumi, Maya hate her the most. And Hayami will do anything to get hold of right on ‘The Crimson Goddees’ play which made Maya hate him more.
